Our Events Team

Christina is a third-year student at the University of Edinburgh, majoring in International Relations and International Law. Born and raised in Hong Kong, she developed an interest in human rights after witnessing the anti-extradition demonstrations that unfolded in her hometown from 2019 to 2020. Seeking a space to connect with like-minded individuals and practically apply her passion for human rights, she joined FGHR in 2022 as an Events Officer and now works to organise thought-provoking and meaningful events throughout the United Kingdom for those interested in the field. Christina is fluent in English, Cantonese, Korean and Mandarin and hopes to pursue further education in the field of international human rights law.

My name is Anastasia Rak. I recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh, where I studied Global Crime, Justice and Security, but my passion for human rights started as a student at St Andrews. In the past few years, I had a chance to learn more about the field through the UNSC and UNHRC models and my dissertation research. I am excited to be a part of the FGHR and keep learning about the ways I could help.
